Zanu PF supporters invaded Protea farm in ward 23 of Goromonzi South. The farm owner *Chris Watford was not at
the farm at the time and his farm manager *Tawanda Dunzuza tried to negotiate with the Zanu PF supporters to no
avail. The supporters then started allocating themselves stands and ordered Dunzuza to vacate the farm and when he
refused they abducted him, forced him into a car and took him to an unknown place where he was assaulted and kept
for a day. The leader of the group was only known as Sumburera from the Goromonzi Lands Office. Watford is said to
be in the process of evicting the invaders from his farm.

An MDC-T rally that had initially been booked at Rudhaka stadium in Marondera Central had to be moved to an open
space after interference by Zanu PF youths. MDC-T Vice President Thokozani Khupe addressed the rally. Gift Midzi
and Garikai Nyatondo mobilized youths who intimidated people not to attend. The instruction to disrupt the rally was
alleged to have come from the Zanu PF leadership in Marondera, who included provincial chairpersons Diamond
Tenfara and Marbel Tenfara and campaign managers Josias Matindina and Joel Mufandaedza. The youths were also
instructed to ensure that ZimPF does not mobilize people to join the rally.

A public hearing on electoral reforms hosted by the Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Committee and chaired by
Jessie Majome held at Nyamakwere Lodge in Mutoko South was the brainchild of the Election Resource Centre
(ERC) that had filed a petition with the Parliament of Zimbabwe on electoral reforms. It is reported that people from
different political parties attended the hearing. First to speak was Mr Unganai Muzoda an MDC-T national member
from Marondera it was after he spoke that Zanu PF youths announced that no one from Mutoko was supposed to
make a contribution. The youths continuously disrupted the hearing for almost an hour and half. Mutoko South MP,
David Chapfika, council chairperson, Mr Kahuni, who is also the ward 20 councillor and Everisto Pfumvute were
leading the disruptions. People were later asked to write their views and submit them to the clerk of parliament. After
the meeting the youths harassed individuals who had made contributions during the meeting.
