District Chairperson Munyaradzi Nyamukondiwa had a dispute with Cde Bili as the duo raised counter claims
of ownership of the land.The dispute between the two party officials resulted in their supporters clashing.

A case of corruption was reported in Highfield West constituency Ward 25 and 26. Government officials
particularly Highfield District Officer Ms Kandizi, from the Ministry of Youth, Indigenization & Empowerment,
Mrs N Tagarira the District Administrator and Ms Gondo Assistant District Administrator for Highfield were
accused of withholding
maize meant for vulnerable groups during a government social welfare food
distribution program. Reports are that, the trio confiscated three 50kg bags of maize, which was allocated to
orphans, widows and the elderly people in the community. .

faction which sought to petition a vote of no confidence against the duo was attacked by the
