were told not to report to school until their parents had paid full tuition fees. Pupils from Forrest J Primary School in Mazowe North were sent away on opening day and told to only report to school after their parents pay fees and settle all outstanding arrears. Headmaster, Takwana Ngochi and chairperson of the school development committee, Rhoda Chawawa are said to have been the ones turning away students. It is alleged that on 2 May at Mudoka C village, ward 7 in Muzarabani North *Liberty Muskwe was verbally threatened by Hamunyari Kasengezi an alleged member of the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) and a serving military intelligence officer under Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA). Muskwe was wearing a t/shirt written ‘ZESN Observer’ met Kasengezi at Muzarabani growth point. The t-shirt drew Kasengezi’s attention. He called Muskwe demanding to know why he was wearing the tshirt. Muskwe snubbed Kazengezi saying he is asking a stupid question. Muskwe was lectured on how such t-shirts symbolize opposition affiliation. It is alleged he was warned that when election campaigns start he will be among the first who will be targeted. Muskwe is reported to have reported the threats to the police and he claims to have been given a cold shoulder by police officers who said both of them were drunk when the threats were made. Threat level: low It is alleged that at Kudzanayi Primary School in Highfield West, pupils with outstanding tuition fees were denied entry into the school premises by the school authorities that included headmistress Mrs Marupiya. Reports are that there were school development committee members stationed at the school gate turning away pupils with no receipts. In Mazowe West Zanu PF councilor, Peter Chinyoka, threatened villagers from ward 15 in Dandamera with eviction if they are not in possession of Zanu PF cards by August 2017. Chinyoka made these threats while addressing villagers, business people, farmers and vendors at Dandamara shopping center on 6 May. It is alleged that on 9 May in Kambuzuma at Kuwadzana 1 Primary School, headmistress, Mrs Chifamba sent away pupils with outstanding tuition fees. Pupils were allegedly told not to report to school until a payment had been received by the school authorities. Pupils were allegedly denied their right to education by school head Mr Manjerwa at Negomo government primary school in ward 19, in Guruve North. Reports are that, on 9 May when schools opened, Manjerwa sent home all pupils over outstanding school fees. It is alleged pupils Zanu PF youths allegedly disrupted a meeting organized by Chitungwiza Residents Trust in Zengeza East at Mubaiwa hotel (ward 9). Reports 10
