PROPERTY RIGHTS
THEFT
Is whereby a person takes property from another person
“knowing” that the other person is entitled to own, possess
or control this very property.
ROBBERY
Is whereby a person steals, borrows or uses the property of
another person without authority, thereby intentionally using
violence or the threat of immediate violence to induce the
person who has lawful control over the property to
relinquish his/her control over it.
STOCK THEFT
Is whereby a person takes livestock from another person
knowing that the other person is entitled to own, and possess
or control this very property.
