In Beitbridge East it is reported that the school headmaster of St Joseph primary, identified as Mr. Mugadza turned
education
away school children who had failed to settle their debts. Among those who were turned away were Dylan Moyo* and
Petros Makunde*. As a result the two and many others failed to write their mock exams that would eventually appear in
their end of term reports.

In Mbizo, area 7 it was reported that Peter Mukombe* was victimised and harassed for being an opposition supporter.

While using public transport he was confronted by known Zanu PF activist Thabiso Tshuma. After noticing the
Association
presence of Peter in the same commuter omnibus Thabiso started making threats making reference to the 2018
elections. Thabiso is alleged to have said during the upcoming election campaigns he was intending to visit Peter’s
homestead and deal with him since he is an opposition MDC-T supporter. Thabiso is also reported to have uttered
offensive words directed to Peter and mocked the MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai in the process. After they had
reached their destination, Thabiso is alleged to have pushed Peter anticipating a reaction from Peter but peter grabbed
his groceries and headed to his place.
