Towards A Zimbabwe where there is Peace, Justice, Dignity, and Development for All It is crucial to promote a culture of tolerance within local communities and work towards a citizenry that engages leaders and collaborates to bring about positive peace. ZPP recommends the adoption of the following interventions to promote sustainable peace in Zimbabwe: The state must ensure that all citizens can exercise their rights without restrictions, regardless of political affiliation, gender, disability, or colour. The National Peace and Reconciliation Commission (NPRC) specifically needs to strike alliances with relevant stakeholders to ensure that positive peace prevails, according to their constitutional mandate. CSOs should continue engaging influential leaders like political leaders within the community in order to foster a culture of tolerance, and co-existence and create an active citizenry that takes action to promote peace. ● ● ● ZPP COMMEMORATES THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE 8
