Partisan approaches in the distribution and registration for Pfumvudza/intwasa scheme were witnessed when members of the Citizen Coalition for Change were either denied or struck off from the registers. At ward 6 of Zhombe constituency, it was reported that village heads identified as Gotosa deprived Mavis Ncube, Anna Shoko, Tellme Dube and Amis Phiri their maize allocation from the food distribution program. It is said that Gotosa told them that they were not eligible as they failed to attend ZanuPF meetings in the previous month. In Gokwe Chireya ward 4, it was reported that Michael Tupe told the community that the presidential farming inputs, maize seed, and fertilisers were only meant for ZanuPF supporters. He further excused the opposition supporters and told them to go to Nelson Chamisa. Thomas Dube is among those that got deprived. Bulawayo Province Bulawayo Province has been a hot bed following recalls of 15 Citizen Coalition for Change MP’s by Sengezo Tshabangu. The heightened fissures in the CCC, has led to some violations being recorded in the province. At ward 23 of Phelandaba-Mpophoma constituency, it was reported that Desmond Mahlangu of Citizens Coalition for Change assaulted Thulani Dube for stating that Nelson Chamisa had badly handled the affairs of the party. It is said that Mahlangu punched Dube several times in the face. The matter was reported to the Zimbabwe Republic Police. At ward 1 in the Central Business Unit, it was reported that Bulawayo Municipal Police (BMP) manhandled Mandla Siwela, Anna Moyo and Stanlake Moyo as they were confiscating property to some vendors who are said to be operating illegally. Allegedly, the BMP manhandled the trio, confiscated the property, and later arrested them. While it is true that some vendors are operating illegally, there was no point in manhandling them. Matabeleland North Province The province witnessed intense political intolerance orchestrated by Zanu PF activists.
