As the figure above shows, the October victim figures show the large percentage of victims whose
political affiliation is not known. It should also be noted that other victims are not aligned to any political
party but take to protests as Zimbabwean citizens claiming their right according to Section 59 of the
Constitution. Zanu PF victims decreased in October (0.8%) as compared to September (2%)

In October the high percentage in state-sponsored perpetrators seen in the previous months has decreased with the
ZRP (6.1%) as compared to September (47%), ZNA (6.1%) as compared to 7.4% for September; whilst the CIO has
seen an increase (2.4%) in October as compared to September (1.1%).
