Business District under the disguise of accessing food aid only to be coerced to join Zanu PF members in a march
around the city. It was reported that Nduna also threatened parastatal managers who were not employing ruling party
members saying their days were numbered. Among those targeted were ZESA and Telone managers

It was alleged that a truck load of armed anti-riot police disrupted MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai’s scheduled

meeting with opinion leaders in Hurungwe West at Nyamakate area in village 22. It was reported that a team of nine
officers, armed with guns and teargas under the command of officer in charge Inspector Mugari descended on the
village and threatened Titus Chimbiro* for providing his premises to be used as the meeting venue. It was reported
that the officers claimed that they had not been notified of the meeting and made relentless efforts to halt the planned
event. MDC-T Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora confirmed the events as a true record.
