Association of lunch for a month at St Bedes Primary school as their form of payment. This has been an initiative of helping the needy pupils with lunch at this school. The seven women chosen for the month of March were turned down to perform their agreed duties by the cooking coordinator on political grounds. The coordinator is Ms Rosemary Maisiri. She is alleged to have dismissed the women and said they should go and cook at Zim PF schools and was adamant that she was not in any way going to work with non-Zanu PF people even if it was a school arrangement. 16 March Freedom of On the 16th of March 2017, a restaurant take-away outlet operator Mr Chipato* was threatened at Muzokomba choice, Township in Ward 24, Buhera South by one Zariro who is said to be a Border Gezi youth training graduate. This association and happened when the perpetrator was having a meal at Mr Mukuwe’s restaurant when he overheard two opposition expression supporters making what were said to be derogatory remarks directed to the Zanu PF party and Buhera South Member of Parliament Hon Joseph Chinotimba. This led to Zariro confronting the restaurant owner and accused him of accommodating opposition supporters who talk ill about Zanu PF. He was told that his business was going to be shut down for letting opposition supporters discuss politics within his premises, despite the business owner not having control of what had transpired. 20 March Right to equal It was reported that at 09:00am, ward 1 councillor, Nyamupanedengu allegedly wrote only MDC-T members on the opportunity list of those who were supposed to work under the drain clearance programme. It is alleged that Zanu PF members were left out on this list on suspected political grounds. One Zanu PF victim was Precious Chikomo*. The programme went ahead despite a serious misunderstanding with Zanu PF members who were left out as they complained about the unfairness of the process. 15
