It is alleged that on the 22nd of March 2017, Simon Karanda* was insulted by a man identified as Mbonisi Tshuma of

Zanu PF who was wearing his party regalia. Simon was accused of being a sell-out since he never belonged to Zanu PF.
The incident happened at Sompis Shopping Centre at Mahatshula North.
