     Zanu PF and the President's Office was responsible for Martin Dinha’s nomination to stand in this by-election and so no one must go against that. The meeting was held on 12 June. Nyarai Mandere* (34) and Thandeka Tarwirei* (28) were harassed by Zanu PF youth chairperson for Chiwaridzo district Rodrick Jacha and Anyway Mavhangira (40) at Chiwaridzo Shopping Centre on 12 June 2016 in Bindura North,. The two victims were on their way to Chipadze hall where there was a ZimPF rally and were wearing T/shirts with the picture of their party President Joice Mujuru. Jacha told the two that they were enemies of the party and threatened to burn their houses. Mavhangira and Jacha called the war veteran’s chairperson only identified as comrade John to come and deal with the two. The two women also called their provincial coordinator Peter Kufandaedza*. When comrade John arrived he saw Kufandaedza* whom he had worked with previously and they resolved to ignore the incident and the women managed to attend the rally. There was a door to door pick up of youths in ward 19 on 14 June 2016 in Guruve North. The youths were forced to attend a village meeting to decide the fate of some of the youths who failed to pay transport to attend the One Million Man March that was held in Harare on 25 May 2016. The identified youths were then forced to pay $5 each by Albert Muzava the Kazunga village Zanu PF youth chairperson and Munyaradzi Chaora. The affected youths were Ashton Tomu*, Munuse Nyoni* and James Muti*. Leonard Danga* an MDC-T supporter is reported to have had a misunderstanding with the Zanu PF shadow councillor for ward 14 in Mt Darwin East, Chigango on 16 June. Chigango wanted Danga to return to Zanu PF following his defection to MDCT. Danga refused to return to Zanu PF and was threatened with unspecified action in 2018 by Chigango. Danga is reportedly living in fear following the threats. Zanu PF youths were reportedly toy-toying in the streets in ward 12 of Progress and Garikai suburbs on 17 June 2016 in Bindura North. The Zanu PF youths reportedly wanted to intimidate the MDC-T youths who were supposed to conduct a march on the same day from Progress Phase 2 to Chipadze, then to town. The march was expected to start at 9am. The Zanu PF team was led by Samuel Bonde the Simon Muzenda branch chairperson for Garikai Phase 3. The Zanu PF youths started toytoying at 4am. MDC-T held a demonstration in Bindura on 18 June, as part of its countrywide demonstrations. The party demonstrated against what they called the mismanagement of the economy, disappearance of $15 Billion, introduction of bond notes, disappearance of innocent citizens, partisan distribution of food and high levels of unemployment. 19
